Personal moments(Candy floss)

Hey everyone! So today I would talk about some of my memories related to candy floss. You all people would have eaten candy floss, mostly 90's kids. It's a pink or yellow colour sugar thing which melts in you mouth. Sorry, I am not giving any definition of candy floss 😅.

When I was a kid, my dadu(grandfather) used to buy me candy floss. At that time, a man used to come, belling his bell, the moment I hear the bell,I used to rush towards the window and asked dadu to buy me that. The cost of candy floss that time was just around 2-5 rupees(now-around 20 rupees). The smile which used to come on my face was so expensive. Really those days were perfect. 5 rupees was able to buy you happiness.

The best thing was, dadu always lifted me in his arms and asked me ,aru chai("Do you want more candy floss"? in bengali. )With a big smile I nodded with my mouth full of candy floss. (I used to call it 'budiya ka baal'). Ah! Those days are gone and so is that big smile.

Talking about today, I really don't get to see those candy floss guys, don't know where they disappeared in a world of expensive chocolates. Now,1000 rupees also can't buy you happiness but that time 5 rupees had done the business.

I really want to buy candy floss again, I really want to jump to my dadu's arms and with a big smile eat those candy floss, I know it's never possible now. What the children of these generation are missing, they don't know themselves.

Rather than buying expensive choclates, why not gift someone small small things which could make a memory for them.☺

Stay happy and positive.

Pragya
